Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or related field from a four-year university is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of strong experience in a NON-UNION food-manufacgturing plant with union-avoidance knowledge and success.
  • Minimum 5 years' related progressive HR Management experience required in a food/beverage manufacturing plant that specifically includes experience in the startup of a new plant as required.
  • PHR or SPHR is a plus.
  • Must have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of human resources and employment practices (selection, interviewing, job evaluations, contract administration, etc.)
  • Continuous Improvement/LEAN oriented mindset
  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
  • Strong union-avoidance experience in a non-union food/beverage processing/manufacturing plant is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor and employment laws required.
  • Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States with no sponsorship of any type required now or for any point in the future.
  • Able to relocate in a timely fashion to the Findlay/McComb, Ohio, area within one month or less with relocation assistance if candidate is not already local to the area.
