To provide the Manufacturing Plant with the adequate human resources to meet its objectives, in alignment to the business values and processes.
Is responsible for all the personnel in the plant below the management team (not Managers and up).
Reports to Plant Manager and dotted line to regional HR Director. HR/Office Clerk reports to this position.

  • Coordinates the necessary recruitment strategies according to the plants needs and commitments, guaranteeing that hiring agencies do initial interviews and coordinating or executing interviews on Dawn's behalf.
  • Coordinates onboarding and training for all new TMs in the plant
  • Executes the first approach to onboard new TMs (including: receiving the new TM, coordinating receival the tools he needed, loading of information in the system, signing of documents, sharing Dawn's Rules & regulations, Values, Benefit Plan, etc.)
  • Together with the Plant Manager, is responsible to maintain a good work environment where all TM strive to excel in alignment with the right behaviors, company policies and legal requirements.
  • Works with the Plant Mangers on the Organizational development to bring the culture change required for each plants 5 year plans
  • Helps middle management exercise the right leadership skills channeling the required training and feedback.
  • Promotes human talent development and growth in the organization in all personnel to support the operational strategy and to build skill level development for frontline TMs.
  • Provides assistance to all personnel on questions, issues, requirements, problems, and request according to the established guidelines.
  • Maintains contact with front line personnel to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Coordinates, through the HR Clerk, company directed events in the plant to facilitate communication, celebration, recognition, etc.
  • Coordinates, through the HR Clerk, that all Employee files are current (Active and Terminated), as well as keeping track of all HR related metrics, including EC/SAP, assistance, absenteeism, etc.
  • Together with the Plant Manager, proposes and develops actions plans and strategies to improve HR metrics.
  • Coordinates with HRBSP and HR Director on sensitive HR cases.

  • College degree in HR Administration or similar
  • 4+ years of experience in HR role in a Manufacturing plant
  • Proven experience in improving TMs engagement.
  • Experienced with Union environments (where needed; Louisville, Seattle)
  • Microsoft office
  • Experience with SAP EC and management of general HR information and metrics
