Hall's Ice Cream was founded in 1947 when Mr. John Allen Hall made ice cream for his wedding to Sarah (Sally) DeLancey.
Mr. Hall had attended classes in ice cream production at Penn State's University Creamery and was so enthused about the quality of the ice cream produced there, that upon returning home to the family dairy outside Millerstown, PA, he developed his own recipe using the same high quality ingredients.
As John Allen and Sally celebrated their 57th anniversary on May 9, 2004, Hall's Ice Cream celebrated 57 years of manufacturing high quality, great tasting ice cream by the Hall family at the same location in Millerstown.
