Scope of Position
The Food Safety and Quality Systems Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Food Safety and Quality Systems (FSQS) department at the facility. The focus of this position is to coordinate the responsibilities of the department with Operations, Sanitation, and Engineering departments to ensure 100% customer satisfaction in all areas of food safety, product specifications, and assured supply.
The primary purpose of the FSQS Manager is to provide leadership, in direct supervision of the HACCP Coordinator and FSQS Supervisors. The FSQS Manager will strive to identify and remove any obstacles that may impede completion of accountabilities assigned within the department. Through communication and the exchange of ideas the FSQS Manager will work to maintain a strong synergistic work environment.
