Our client, a manufacturing company located near Montreal, QC is looking for a Bilingual Food Technologist to join their team 


What you will do in this role:


  • Monitor shelf-life study including sensory evaluation and physio-chemistry analysis (pH, Aw, texture, moisture, etc.).
  • Prepare and review shelf-life protocols.
  • Participate in sensory testing.
  • Record and compile test results, prepare graphs, charts, and reports.
  • Work with Project Leaders in the development and validation of new analytical methods.
  • Provide support to Project Leaders through the preparation of lab prototype.
  • Work with Project Leaders to identify third-party analytical methods relevant to specific products
  • Maintain documentation.
  • Provide support to improve aspects of foods, such as chemical composition, flavor, color, texture, nutritional value using knowledge of food science, chemistry, microbiology, and other sciences


What you will bring to the role:


  • DEC/College Degree. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Nutrition would be an asset
  • 2-3 years of experience working in food industry, R&D or QC/QA field
  • Some knowledge of GMP and lab procedures preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingualism; French and English
