  • Under limited supervision, supports one of the U.S. Supply Chain Regions ("East" or "West") with financial analytics and thought leadership covering all business aspects
  • Business partners with the Regional Supply Chain leaders and team members to elaborate insights and financial key metrics with the objective to make recommendations on actions to improve supply chain execution aligned with Dawn&##39;s commercial strategy
  • Supports SIOP across all Regions and manufacturing plants on all aspects related to inventory (reporting, accruals, loss reduction, turnover increase, DIOH optimization, etc).
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and assistance to the assigned Supply Chain Region, SIOP, Ops Management, and Transportation areas in the formulation of their budgets/forecasts
  • Assists Management in determining financial systems and processes for the organization.
  • Gathers relevant data, prepares reports, and presents data to cross-functional teams for the periodic establishment and analysis of Supply Chain related key data.
  • Reviews actual versus budgeted/forecasted spend and issues monthly variance statements.
  • Routinely analyzes data, investigates issues, variances, and trends, identifies solutions, and recommends actions based on business analytics to guide key business decisions. Drawing out implications and the "so what?" are critical.
  • Conducts analyses and research in such areas as financial and spend performance, cost per pound, cases per people hour, utilization, mix, rate of return, working capital, investments, and other financial related matters.
  • Promotes clear understanding of the financial impact of operational issues and opportunities.
  • Has a significant role in designing, implementing, administering, and running financial systems, business templates, and procedures
  • Responsible for all aspects of difficult projects that are broad in nature and require originality and/or ingenuity
  • Act as a back up to the peer Financial Analyst covering the other Region (East or West)
  • Performs a variety of necessary tasks for all assignments including preparing work plan and schedule, completing detailed analysis and research, identifying options, preparing reports for management, and recommending action or change based on findings.
  • Assists in the development of business policies and performance measures.
  • Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested by management, including supporting the creation of ROI/CER analytics.
  • Works collaboratively across company functions and entire finance team
  • Provides back up support for other Finance positions as required.
  • Performs analyses that are complex and varied in nature.
  • Continuously improves processes, templates, and extraction methodologies as per the business needs
  • Duties require significant evaluation, originality, or ingenuity.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to Business Partners as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&##39;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. Master&##39;s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of related financial experience as Finance Business Partner
  • Strong commercial business understanding coupled with the desire to understand the detail
  • as well as the strategic view
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel including, Visual Basic, Powerpoint, etc.
  • SAP desired,
  • Ability to provide financial support and handle multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
