The Role:
Following an internal promotion a great opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the ARYZTA Food Europe reporting division. Reporting to the European Financial Controller this role will be involved in the regional consolidation and reporting process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of European financial results with total revenues of circa €1.4b;
  • Performance analysis and assisting in preparation of presentation decks for group finance/senior management;
  • Consolidation and review of European forecast and budgets;
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts for 5 central legal entities including posting of journals, reconcilations, Intercompany balance reconciliations and variance analysis;
  • Consolidate and review European Revenue and report it to Group finance on a weekly basis;
  • Review of ARYZTA Sales rebates across Europe on a quarterly basis;
  • Project lead for Europe on the roll out of BPC (consolidation tool) upgrade;
  • BPC report building and providing training to users across Europe;
  • First line of support for European BPC users;
  • Drive efficiencies in financial reporting following upgrade;
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support on projects.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Honours Degree in Business related field (2.1 level or above)
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage;
  • High analytical skills and accuracy of reporting;
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal business partners;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
