JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for mixing feed rations according to instructions from Feedmill Supervisor.
  • Assign feed orders and deliveries to proper bin location.
  • Responsible for all feed ingredients and making sure they are assigned to the proper bin.
  • Observe mill for proper operations and maintain truck and tractor.
  • Make sure that accurate inventory and records are kept.
  • Responsible for hauling assigned loads to proper bins at Bloomfield and Plainview location.
  • Responsible for making sure truck is legally loaded, not over weight.
  • Responsible for daily truck inspection and fuel usage reports.
  • Responsible for operating feed leg and drag conveyors.
  • Assist in mill maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Conscious of housekeeping practices.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Licenses, certificates, registrations:

  • Class A CDL License
  • Forklift license
  • Other skills and abilities:

  • Must have a valid Nebraska Class A CDL license.
  • Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions.
  • Free of any breathing or asthmatic conditions, dusty conditions prevail.
  • Must have good mechanical ability.
  • Must pass all DOT driving requirements.
  • Some computer skill and knowledge.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 130 feet in height and able to ascend and descent stairs.
  • Ability to safely lift 75 lbs.
