ARE YOU ALREADY A SUCCESSFUL TEAM LEAD OR SUPERVISOR IN THE POULTRY-PROCESSING INDUSTRY? This opportunity may be the ideal next step for you working with a majorpoultry producer who has an immediate need for an Evisceration Team Leader / Supervisor for a role in the Georgetown, Delaware (DE), area.

Qualifications Required:

 Successful candidate will have:

  • 4 or more years of supervisory experience in poultry processing.
  • Previous evisceration, debone, and/or cut-up experience strongly preferred
  • The ability and willingness to work 2nd shift.
  • AA or BS degree preferred but not required
  • Candidate should be familiar with HACCP, SPC and plant efficiencies as it relates to yield, lbs./birds pmh, line speeds and automatic process equipment.
  • Candidates MUST be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship of any type required at any time as no sponsorship is or will be avaialble.
  • Candidates must either already live within a commutable distance of one hour or less from the Georgetown, Delaware, area or be able to relocate to that area with relocation assistance in a timely fashion of one month or less.
  • There may be similar opportunities in other states potentially on other shifts. Please indicate if you are open to relocating to states other than Virginia for related opportunities at the time you apply.

Responsibilities will include though are not limited to the following:

  • Train, direct and develop hourly employees
  • Ensure quality of finished product using established expertise from having supervised poultry-processing teams for at least 4 years in the past.
  • Define and implement new methods of production to improve efficiency within established company practices and/or using proactive methods to recommend new, improved practices in accordance with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or related processes and principles.
