This Events and Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, vendor management and on-site execution of small to large scale events across the Americas providing all execution, oversight and reporting. This includes event coordination, vendor management, budget and expense management, and event marketing planning. In this role, the candidate will ensure effective collaboration and fulfill event calendar responsibilities. Successful candidates excel at building working relationships and have a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. Meticulous attention to detail, willingness to solve hard problems and operating independently are all highly valued skills. The ideal candidate will have a track record of running successful events and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

The Position
The Events & Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative, oversight and follow up for Curion external events, trade shows and conference sponsorships. This person will need to be highly organized, ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, and ability to meet multiple deadlines This individual will also be responsible for:

  • Tracking, communicating, coordinating and implementing the details of all events and sponsorships
  • Follow up with all event organizers and vendors to ensure that we have all necessary requirements completed. Ensure swag is ordered and delivered.
  • Responsible for tracking spend/budget per event
  • Conduit between organizer and internal stakeholders (creative, marketing, etc.)
  • Ensure all internal speakers and attendees are on task and prepared prior to event
  • Responsible for coordinating all the details to successfully fulfill sponsorship
  • Responsible for managing post-event follow up with sales team to ensure all leads are recorded from event to measure/track event ROI


  • Requires ground and air travel as needed to execute
  • Bachelor&##39;s degree related to business, marketing, communications or similar
  • 2+ years of experience executing events
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Need to be highly organized
  • Excellent project management and/or event planning skills.
  • Must be very detail oriented and motivated to see a project and plan through to completion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in an organized manner.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to complete work accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Represents company and able to communicate company goals and objectives
  • Experience with collecting and reporting results
