Our client is seeking a EHS Manager for their manufacturing facility near the San Anotnio, TX area.

 

 Responsibilities:

*Oversee all aspects of the EHS program at the plant level

*Ensure all safety procedures are being followed

*Manage all EHS systems, processes, and associated vendors

*Conducts audits and prepares applicable reports

*Maintains all reports and programs in accordance with the company's EHS Guidelines under the direction of the Vice President for Human Resource

*Drive the development of the employee EHS plan and goals

*Consistently measures, analyzes, and develips the effectiveness of policies & procedures and recommend data driven changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate accidents, injuries, and damages.

*Ensure compliance with mandated federal, state and local laws and regulations.

*Reports to the regional EHS Director

*Perform other related duties as required by management

 

Qualifications:

*BA/BS from an accredited college or university is required

*5+ years EHS management experience in a manufacturing plant

*Strong background in food/beverage manufacturing preferred, but not required

*Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, DOT and EPA regulations/practices

*Strong background driving a Safety first culture within a manufacturing setting
