Monogram Foods is looking for a Director of Project and Applications to provide vision and leadership for the Monogram projects, processes, functions and resources and manage non-ERP applications to meet business needs. This role will facilitate alignment with strategic goals and projects/programs that contribute to these goals. There will be one business analyst reporting to this role. The Director of Projects and Applications will create business value thru systems and technology. This role reports to the CIO and position is based at the Monogram Support Center in Memphis, TN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain foundational standards, best practices, deliverables, and operational cadences for executing and managing Projects and Programs throughout Monogram
  • Monitor standards to promote continuous improvement
  • Manage non-ERP applications thru support, upgrade and governance
  • Ensure that IT systems and procedures lead to outcomes in line with the business goals
  • Develop strong working relationships with IT and business leaders to understand the program and projects necessary to meet strategic goals
  • Facilitate the IT Roadmap strategic planning with business leaders and the annual operating plan
  • Drive the determination of scope and business requirements for projects and process changes
  • Develop project plans including resources and capital requirements; provides input into the budgeting process
  • Lead cross functional teams in process improvement efforts
  • Plan and direct the implementation of IT projects
  • Participate as a leader or key member of a project team

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline required.
  • 10 or more years of IT leadership experience highly preferred
  • IT project management experience required
  • Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
  • Background in application management thru all the IT life cycle processes.
  • Demonstration of strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to stakeholders with varying levels of technical and strategic capabilities
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and individuals in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing employees and contractors/consultants
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing strategic information system plans
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and influence at all management levels and with both technical and non-technical individuals and successfully manage cross-functional resources
  • Proficient understanding of the current technologies and software
