About the Position:
The Director of Operations will oversee all manufacturing activities in the organization including: Warehousing, Quality and Food Safety and Engineering departments. Ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
The purpose of this role is to execute the manufacturing strategy, formulate and recommend policies and programming which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation. The role holder is responsible for implementing structures and systems to enable, maintain, and improve operational efficiencies, product improvements and productivity, to support the achievement of site performance targets through a focus on continuous improvement.
The Director of Operations will also be responsible for Profit and Loss statements, overall plant budget, and contributing to the Company s strategic plan and will ensure execution of that plan to the above assigned departments while focusing on profitability, productivity and efficiency. This role will also drive innovation and a positive corporate culture exemplifying food & employee safety.
This position will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a member of the Executive team.
