This position is under the direction of the Production Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining bottle supply to the production line through the operation of the De-palletizer via the HMI (human-machine interface) and control panel, and documenting lot traceability information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
  • Maintaining workstation cleanliness - includes but is not limited to catwalk, conveyors, floor
  • Completion of Weekly Safety One Point Lessons
  • Upholding a high standard of quality through inspection of raw materials
  • Completion of Lot Traceability documentation for all incoming bulk pallets of containers
  • Maintain container supply to the filler, ranging from 150-200 bottles per minute
  • Exhibit strong work ethic, machine aptitude, and verbal communication
  • Operate and troubleshoot basic machine functions
  • Monitor for pallet jams on the pallet conveyors, clear bottle jams from the mat top conveyor, and bottle jams through the inverter
  • Remove and/or discard all dunnage (e.g., stretch wrap, pallet straps, slips sheets, pallet frames)
  • Operate in a flexible manner to support the overall success of the operation

  • Comprehension of Preventative Maintenance
  • Experience in performing basic lubrication, greasing and parts inspection
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism, problem solving, attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong dedication for success, taking pride in workmanship
  • Working effectively in a team environment, positive attitude
  • Participation in employee training as it relates to GMP's, Health and Safety, periodic technical training as it relates to internal development, active participation of Line Improvement and Optimization activities ensuring high performance of Production
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and other quality programs
  • Ability to work in varying climates
  • Ability to work independently with high quality and productivity
  • Willing to work flexible hours and frequent overtime including weekends
  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds in a repetitive nature
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in an environment exposed to milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat allergens
  • Minimum of a High School Education
  • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with machine or tooling changeovers


  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50 -100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20 - 50 pounds and/or continuously lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10 - 20 pounds
  • Preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
