POSITION: Cycle Counter

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Warehouse

SHIFT: 1st Shift

Position Summary:

The position will ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse cycle count function, working along and in support of the supervisor and warehouse manager. The position will be responsible for completing cycle count functions of the warehouse in an efficient timeline. The cycle count position will also help in researching and found discrepancies to resolve the inventory issue. The cycle counter will help in all three warehouses to ensure on time completion of the facility.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate powered industrial truck in a safe and efficient operation and follows all OSHA and plant safety processes.
  • Performs all essential driving functions to be able to safely transport goods, such as maneuvering truck into loading and unloading rack/conveyor positions, including tight spots without damaging equipment or product.
  • Performs all daily safety inspections of powered industrial trucks prior to operation. Reports all safety issues with trucks to be taken out of service for repairs.
  • Effective scanning of all product and verification of information matching the product is verified.
  • Maintains proper rotation of products with the warehouse and use in production.
  • Able to run empty bin report in SAP and perform the audit.
  • Reports necessary maintenance work orders needed for facilities.
  • Operator will be responsible for efficient use of time and will help others or find needed completed tasks when time presents itself.
  • Able to use SAP to search inventory issues or locations to answer questions or provide support.
  • Ability to perform the various roles within the warehouse as needed for coverage.
  • Acts in a way supporting the supervisor or warehouse manager and helps ensure follow through on needed actions and tasks within the warehouse.
  • Report any equipment and product damage in a timely manner consistent with plant processes.
  • Maintains high levels of housekeeping and sanitation in and around work areas and complies with all GMP requirements and master sanitation program.

Qualifications:
  • Must have valid forklift certification.
  • Must be certified on scissor lift.
  • Must have 1 – 3 years of experience using a Forklift.
  • Must be computer literate and skilled with Microsoft.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work under low supervision in a demanding environment.
  • Must be able to assume responsibility and be held strictly accountable.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, energetic, and maintain a high sense of urgency.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for extended period.
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection.
