Under the general supervision of the Customer Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Customer Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle of order management and replenishment for Walmart & other key customers across multiple business segments. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external customers to proactively drive service improvements, actively participating in a culture of continuous improvement, and the ability to research and analyze customer performance data to draw meaningful conclusions. This person will be expected to understand the complete order to cash process and replenishment/allocation systems, have attention to detail, the ability to prioritize competing deadlines, and effective interpersonal skills.

  • Allocate to stores on sales performance and inventory levels, monitor and ensure timely execution of all planned product allocations as needed
  • Utilize a variety of organizational and project management skills to provide end to end sales order process support
  • Manage order releases for key accounts -act as the first line of defense of order accuracy with items, quantities, DC's and pricing
  • Investigate and provide updates on key customer On Time Delivery Reports and conducting root cause analysis for continuous improvement
  • Proactively monitor open orders and seek details/request exceptions for orders that have not shipped in time to deliver on time
  • Compare customer PO information to ERP sales order information & investigate mismatches, changes, on yard exceptions for Warehouse Administration, Date Move exceptions, etc.
  • Coordinate proper resolution of any overages not billed with the customer, Accounting, & Warehouse teams
  • Maintain PO information in customer portals as needed to ensure data matches for Invoice Accuracy & On-Time/In-Full mitigation
  • Provide white glove management of promotional orders - ensure shipment and delivery compliance
  • Work with quality control, supply chain operations, and customers to address product availability, shelf life, and product transition issues, as well as recalls and market withdrawals
  • Responsible for all sales order activities and ensures orders are fulfilled in accordance with customer and business requirements
  • Achieves a high degree of familiarity and in-depth knowledge of the order to cash applications in the ERP system
  • End to end management of customer returns
  • Effectively analyze EDI data to identify and resolve errors to ensure timely fulfilment. This includes championing root cause analyses to prevent recurring errors
  • Proactively identify potential product shortages and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for resolution and root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical skills to drive decision making when required
  • Liaison with sales, integrated business planning, and other departments as needed to ensure all orders are confirmed, shipped, and invoice properly
  • Uses sound judgement in the application of general business principles and demonstrates initiative in carrying out assigned duties
  • Ensure all orders are within US or international customer regulations and/or restrictions
  • Assist with data quality testing as needed
  • Provide peer to peer training and account back up coverage as needed
  • Develop and generate daily internal & external reports for backorder replenishment, outstanding orders, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Education: High School Diploma required
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred Experience: Four or more years in an order management or replenishment related position working within an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Preferred Experience: Two or more years working in Retail Link, High Radius, and/or OMS in support of Walmart

Physical Demands:

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Some work is required in "off-hours" for business meetings/company events.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
  • Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
