The Custodian performs all housekeeping tasks involved in maintaining a clean work environment; adhering to the Housekeeping Schedule and practicing safe work habits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Housekeeping and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
• Perform work safely and efficiently in break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors.
• Ensure work area and cleaning supplies are properly organized and maintained.
• Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all documentation requirements are met.
• Assist in executing pest control program as needed.
• Assist in snow removal during winter months as needed.
• Complete non-routine cleaning/sanitation tasks as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Safety Protocol
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Required:

• No experience required; in-house training provided.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure Required:

• None
