Basic Purpose and Scope:

The Content Marketing Specialist plans, strategizes and executes the content across various platforms for Litehouse company brands.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Create and manage content for Foodservice channel to generate website leads and support sales promotion initiatives - 30%
  2. Assist in managing agency partners and work with content creators to create search engine optimized content for Litehouse Foodservice website - 30%
  3. Assist in developing and managing Foodservice advertising campaigns. Including creating and sending regular email newsletters to distributor and operator lists - 20%
  4. Work with Search Engine Optimization partner to increase organic traffic to Litehouse Foodservice websites through content optimizations - 10%
  5. Manage content assets for Foodservice channel on Digital Asset Management system - 10%
  6. Work with cross-departmental teams to ensure regulatory and legal compliance for all content - Ongoing
  7. Ensure content and brand voice match Brand DNAs and speak to target audience - Ongoing
  8. Run test-and-learn campaigns and A/B tests across social media, email newsletters, etc. and optimize content according to results - Ongoing
  9. Staying up to date on SEO best practices, as well as platforms and trends for email and social media marketing - Ongoing
  10. Staying up to date on new Litehouse company product launches or brand updates - Ongoing
  11. Maintain a positive, personable, and professional voice in all content - Ongoing
  12. Work with Brand Team to identify seasonal products to feature in content - Ongoing
  13. Work with Consumer Engagement Specialist to ensure cohesive voice across consumer-facing communications - Ongoing
  14. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing
  15. Other activities and duties as assigned - Ongoing
  16. Ability to meet attendance requirements - Ongoing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:

  1. Education: Bachelor&##39;s in marketing and two years job related experience
  2. Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience:
    1. Prior experience managing business social media profiles, including scheduling software (such as Hootsuite or Buffer)
    2. Familiarity with Email Newsletter Software (such as Constant Contact or MailChimp), and website CMS (such as Drupal and WordPress)
    3. Experience growing organic site traffic through search engine optimization
    4. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  4. Must have prior experience in copywriting
  5. Must be detail-oriented and very organized
  6. Ability to learn quickly, think creatively and prioritize duties
  7. Up to date on new consumer marketing technologies and platforms
  8. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively, and efficiently in the common language
  9. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
