CM Process Engineer in Suffolk VA

Education/Experience:

• BS degree in an Engineering discipline 
• Strong Project execution experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• 2-5+ years of System Integration, SCADA, and/or MES application development.
• SCADA platforms: Ignition, Rockwell, Wonderware, or GE. Strong SQL skills are a plus
• Rockwell (ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500) PLC’s, PanelView HMI’s

Job Description:

• Working cross-functionally with the Plant to improve efficiency and reduce Non-Value-Added Activity to drive and deliver savings projects.
• Deliver high impact projects across multidisciplinary areas including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Work Directly with Controls and PLC technicians to deliver projects as well as line teams to provide coaching and training as part of project rollout and integration.
• The primary job function consists of the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of the automation equipment
• Assist in upgrades of process control equipment as new technology develops
• Maintain an understanding of the latest state of the art control systems.
• Assist the Mechanics by performing repairs on mechanical systems when needed.
• Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting robotics/automation
