Drives commercial equipment with class A CDL for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods to our customers or other facilities.

Position based out of Central Point Oregon. Driving into Northern CA twice per week, spending at least Monday and Thursday night over the road in new Kenworth sleeper unit. Must be flexible with schedule and willing to work overtime and weekends occasionally.

  • Typically off Saturday and Sunday
  • Shift times may vary a little from time to time depending on stops on truck and delivery / pickup appointments

    1. Actively participate in and promote our safety culture by following safe work practices and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Responsible for reporting all incidents, accidents and observations of unsafe acts or conditions.
    2. Deliver eggs and food products to retail, foodservice, and manufacturing facilities as scheduled and unload or assist in unloading of the product as requested by customer.
    3. Reconcile all deliveries with invoices.
    4. Record product lot number accurately on all invoices/delivery logs.
    5. Records temperatures of trailers accurately and specified times.
    6. Monitor function of all equipment (vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and report malfunctions to Warehouse Lead or Transportation Supervisor.
    7. Maintain route book (Electronic Logging Device, aka ELD)
    8. Pick up empty egg baskets, racks and credits (Make appropriate notations)
    9. Perform other work related duties as assigned.
    10. Maintain good working relationship with all warehouse personnel, drivers, and office staff.
    11. Inform Transportation Manager of any safety concerns, equipment issues, injuries or any other pertinent issues as soon as they arise.
    12. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment; such as hard hats and steel toed safety shoes, as necessary.
    13. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
    14. Operate truck and trailer safely; in accordance with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations.
    15. Have and maintain a good driving record; reporting any driving violations to the Transportation Supervisor.
    16. Must follow all DOT rules and regulations.
    17. Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner. If a problem arises, call the Transportation Manager so that the problem can be corrected.
    18. Must take and pass an initial drug screening, as well as random screenings to follow.
    19. Must pass a bi-yearly DOT physical examination.
    20. Perform other work related duties as assigned.



  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two years, four seasons semi driving experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License and have the ability to operate a semi, pallet jack, dock leveler and any other pertinent equipment.

  • Ability to operate specific equipment or tools
  • Working well in a team setting, working efficiently, being customer service oriented and being safety conscious.
  • Ability to establish priorities, works independently, and proceeds with objectives with minimal supervision.
