Chef-Fresh Foods, L.L.C. is located in the heartland of the USA in the state of Wisconsin. Chef-Fresh began producing fresh (non-frozen) pizzas for walk-in customers in one small retail location in 1977. In 1984, the original 7,000 square foot production facility was constructed in Waupaca, Wisconsin to support the production of frozen pizzas for private label, branded retail and fundraising customers across the state. In 1987 the company again expanded their business to include customers outside of the state and became a federally approved U.S.D.A. meat and poultry certified plant. In the early 1990's, the company de-emphasized the production of pizzas in order to concentrate on the development and production of fresh frozen, specialty dough products. Since that time, sales of Chef-Fresh's unique products have increased dramatically. The company actively markets in the U.S.A. and Canada. Product demand is supported with a modern, USDA accredited, 35,000 square foot facility.
