Canadian Organic Growers (COG) is a Canada-wide, charitable organization that works in conjunction with organic farmers and market gardeners to lead local and national growers towards organic practices. Although not all members of the association run certified organic operations, they all share a vision for a sustainable, organic food system. Many members are working towards becoming certified organic with the help of the COG, while others have always been certified organic and are looking to spread the word of the benefits. COG works in communities, all types of agriculture, and national governance relating to agriculture. The association also organizes Organic Week, produces the popular magazine The Canadian Organic Grower, and is involved in community leadership throughout Canada.
