Seafood Wholesalers (SFW) is an established, well recognized brand in the Texas seafood market. We#39;ve expanded our product offerings to include PPE - masks and hand sanitizers. It is one of the ways that we are able to help our customers and their staff to be safe as they re-open their business during this pandemic.
We are also looking for this person to help grow our online presence. If you are creative and enjoy posting on social media and have ideas on how to improve our online presence, we would like to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new customers through on-site sales calls and phone contact
- Generate new leads and prospects as well as support existing accounts
- Provide service, assistance and guidance to customers
- Develop a complete understanding of the competition
- Attend and participate in all sales meetings and promotional events
- Communicate with and support administrative personnel to keep customers in credit terms
- Help grow our online presence - social media, website, SEO
- Report on sales numbers and project and plan sales growth
- Utilize order and pricing guides to promote products and generate orders daily
- Support daily specials and extra-value items
- Consult with our customers to help grow their seafood business (restaurants, hotels, and other food distributors)

Education and Experience
Minimum of Associate#39;s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidate will have experience in selling proteins or perishable products to restaurants, hotels, or retailers. Knowledge of seafood or experience with perishable goods preferred.
