The Intern will be required to work the following - 40 hours per week for one year duration. The main goals would be to further develop the business of Lactalis Ingredients protein within the Sports Nutrition & Active Lifestyle space ; with a primary focus on the US market as well as a support on other international markets (Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America)
B2B Brand management: Pronativ® Protein ingredient in the Sports & Active lifestyle category
Focusing on driving awareness for unique protein PRONATIV®, Native whey protein (ingredient)
- B2B (business to business) (companies) in the nutrition and functional food space
- B2C (consumers) levels create partnerships with influencers
- Work with different resources : outside companies (PR, Marketing agencies), media listening software and magazines, sales team (gather customers insights)
- Market studies: put together market studies on specific categories including use of protein within the Active lifestyle and sports Nutrition space
- Push for Innovation process ; using protein in various formats
- Sales & marketing support : Develop & elaborate sales material to support Pronativ push (presentation, flyers, brochures, videos)
- Tradeshows : Coordinate tradeshows organization as well as communication related material
Digital Strategy : Manage content creation and diffusion on line for Pronativ® protein ingredient brand
- Work with B2Bdigital marketing agency to manage overall digital strategy
- Manage ; website, SEO and social media platforms (linkedin)
- Create digital campaign to support sales initiatives and tradeshows ; newsletter, blog posts, social media campaign, paid ad in selected platforms
- At Consumers level (facebook and Instagram) use influencers to increase the reach
- Have a domestic US and international approach
Some of the key metrics: Increase website traffic and also quality, get more potential customer leads to reach out to our sales team, support events and sales prospection, develop partnerships with dietitian, sports experts, athletes, sports nutrition companies.
Customer service and sales initiation
Find potential new customers (B2B) within the space
Share with sales team ; potential targets, innovations and consumers insights
Provide administrative assistance to sales team ; developing, handling and sharing documents as well as supporting any sample requests
Business development: entrepreneurship
Support team to launch new Retail initiatives of products formulated with protein within Lactalis North America Group for private labels and / or own Retail brands.

Ideally somebody with some strong Digital marketing background, outgoing and interested in sales and business development
With preferences sensitive to Sports and active lifestyle space and / or nutrition.
The candidate should be a recent college graduate. There would be a preference for a degree in Nutrition/Dietitian but would also consider someone with a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales or another relevant field.
An ideal candidate would have knowledge of sports and wellness with a passion for a healthy lifestyle.
- Strong communication skills are required
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, PPT presentation are necessary
- Feeling at ease with Digital tools (Google Analytics, Word press, Social Media platforms).
- Bilingual in French and/or Spanish is highly desirable
