The Company, headquartered in Fall River, MA, is the largest producer of Clam Chowder in New England and the largest manufacturer of Lobster Bisque in the country.

Position Overview:
This individual will play a key role within the Prep department in order to certify the efficient, accurate, processing of manufacturing ingredients ensuring all incoming lots of ingredients are tracked promptly and accurately to each specific work order in the warehouse of our fast paced food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for guiding, training, and leading their team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of manufacturing ingredients.
  • Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
  • Verify HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Ability to learn, modify and make adjustments to departmental equipment.
  • Ability to lead, be a teacher, and create a positive work environment.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and process data is filled out completely and accurately.

Education and/or Experience

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required for this position.
