This full-time, permanent Autodesk Inventor Mechanical Engineering opportunity is at a start-to-finish material processing industry leader. The company has been in business for 70 years and is growing rapidly. The company has great benefits, a small structure and a family feel. The company is going through a conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor and Vault.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate includes the following:

  • Laying out conveyors
  • Designing
  • Making any needed calculations
  • Detailing component specifications
  • Creating 3D models in Autodesk Inventor
  • Creating drawings to be utilized during manufacture and assembly
  • Participating in meetings
  • Evaluating contracts
  • Communicating with coworkers, vendors and customers

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Four years of mechanical design / mechanical engineering experience
  • Conveyor or material handling design experience
  • A stable work history with no gaps in employment
  • Autodesk Inventor experience
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills
