Aunt Aggie De's Pralines was started in a small Texas town by my Mother, Eleanor Harren. The initial operation consisted of a couple of employees, a Jenn-Air cook top and a very supportive husband. She still runs the company today and insists on the same product quality as when she was watching every batch being made. We have grown to commercial kettles, over 25 full time employees and several new confection products.
Our factory is still in that little Texas town and until we can find equipment capable of gently shaping fine candies, every piece of candy is stirred, dipped and wrapped by hand. We don't believe there is another candy company out there that has the same devotion to taste as we do. Pralines are temperamental and don't look the same every day. But we guarantee the taste and will gladly replace any product that doesn't meet your most discriminating taste buds! We love your letters and suggestions. You have helped us make our company what it is today. Please let us know what we are doing right and wrong! Have a wonderful day and remember: Life is short, eat dessert first!
