The Associate Brand Manager will be involved in all aspects of managing a set of brands within the Dairy Brands portfolio, championing key initiatives and ultimately driving business performance. This is role will provide the Associate Brand Manager with the opportunity to work closely with Marketing Director to develop strategies and disruptive business plans to fuel growth on a premium national brand, along with manage several regional brands. The Associate Brand Manager will operate within a lean and agile team environment, with opportunity to make an immediate impact to the business.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Management

  • Provide leadership to a cross-functional team with ability to lead multiple and diverse team members toward successful completion of project and business objectives
  • Develop and manage multi-faceted projects including sales, marketing and operational components from concept to completion with a high level of attention to detail and timeline
  • Interface with, provide input to, and establish strong working relationships with agencies and vendors
  • Manage brand and project budgets including tracking of estimates and invoices and reconciling actual expenses

Business Analysis

  • Utilize syndicated and other sources of data to develop expertise on the product, category, consumer, customers and competitive set
  • Identify consumer trends to be leveraged in new products and line extensions
  • Participate in building methodology and evaluating results from key research projects
  • Maintain general awareness of key financial measures and business performance

Brand Strategy & Communication

  • Participate in the definition and evolution of brand strategies
  • Lead creation and execution of digital, social media, and shopper marketing strategies
  • Develop agency briefs and project timelines to execute creative development and media planning in support of brand strategies

Innovation Initiatives

  • Support VP, Innovation and Sr Director, Insights in developing innovation from start to finish, including concept development, consumer research, and product development
  • Lead commercialization of product and packaging innovation and renovation projects, including go-to-market plans and post-launch tracking
  • Initiate and manage branded packaging graphics and structure projects, including ownership of packaging review and approval process utilizing internal and agency resources
