Primary function is to perform any available utility work consisting of mould feed/swaps, supplying trays, foam, or other packing supplies to the line, washing moulds, melting chocolate, supply inclusions at drop areas, all functions at decorator area and housekeeping duties. All duties are at Leader discretion based upon crewing and scheduling requirements.
When an 5:00 start is needed to help feed moulds, this position will be first to cover that need. This position will also perform the Backup Mould Feed function and Machine Operator functions when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
Perform Utility functions of Supplying packing materials to the Line Equipment and Packers.
Mould swap as instructed with specific gaps in line for changeovers, inspect moulds for spots and remove, and dislodge any excess candy from moulds
Monitor detractor switch for stringing marbleized pieces, and fill mini temper unit.
Adjust Demoulder as needed
Back Up functions in the following order; Mould Feed, Machine Operator
Performing Machine Operator function will qualify for that higher rate of pay
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
Train new employees as required
Shut down line if serious safety or quality problem arises
Comply with all safety policies, report safety violations, and attend team and safety meetings
Report problems regarding food safety to supervisor or manager.
Maintain home department in a clean and orderly manner
Follow all GMP Guidelines
Perform other related duties as requested by leader

Ability to add and subtract three or more digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight and measurement, volume, and distance.
