Job Description Accountant

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Accounting Department Manager & Department Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain cash flow projections
  2. Prepare Break Even Analysis
  3. Landed Cost Accounting / Overhead Allocation / Pricing
  4. Prepare bank reconciliations
  5. Assist with monthly financial statements, trends, and bank reports
  6. Prepare filings for business licenses, certificates, government reports, and other programs
  7. Track assets and expenses for construction projects
  8. Prepare Executive Reports
  9. Assist in preparation for audits, work with auditors
  10. Backup and cross-training of Department staff

Job Requirements

  1. Accounting Degree or 3 years equivalent experience preferred
  2. Communication skills, verbal and written
  3. Willingness to learn and help others
  4. Proficient in use of computer, Excel, Word, etc.
    Must learn custom Accounting Dept. software
  5. Stickler for detail and accuracy
  6. Organized, focused, with personal time management skills
