This position is at Kemps Farmington plant a subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).
Hours: Rotating 3 or 4 days per week: 9pm-7am. Overtime is required.
Wage: $30.53
Purpose:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance and electrical work throughout the plant on a daily basis.
Duties:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work without supervision
  • Recognized by peers and production leaders as being a competent mechanic with effective problem solving - troubleshooting skills
  • Understands Equipment importance of run time while exhibiting sense of urgency
  • Basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems competency
  • Understands critical plant systems, and able to enable and/or disable as neededProficient in basic PC skills, Excel, Word and other programs as required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills within cross functional team
  • LOTO and arch-flash understanding
  • Refrigeration understanding, demonstrates Ammonia system requirements, operation and safe procedures
  • Demonstrate preventative maintenance needs, work-order and PM systems and prioritizing for plant operation
